Tradition 7: Every CEA-HOW group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.
Compulsive Eaters Anonymous is supported solely through contributions from its members. We do not accept outside donations. If you are a member of CEA-HOW and would like to support the fellowship, your contribution helps ensure it remains available to all who seek recovery.
CEA-HOW, Inc. is recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law. In accordance with IRS regulations, for income tax purposes a donor may deduct only the amount by which a contribution exceeds the fair market value of goods and services received in exchange. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation in support of the fellowship, with the exceptions specifically noted for some special events.

Gratitude Donation
Share your gratitude throughout the year—on your abstinent birthday, the anniversary of a sponsor or sponsee, or simply in a moment of appreciation for the freedom and joy the CEA-HOW program has brought you. Service bodies may also donate funds in excess of their prudent reserve.
In Honor of a Loved One
Contribute in honor of a member celebrating an abstinent milsteone, in memory of someone who has passed, or just in the name of someone you love.
